How do you remove the door panel of the Smart 451?

In order to remove the door panel on the Smart 451, you first need to detach the outer door panel: this will allow you to access the clips that secure the panel from the outside. These clips need to be removed in order to detach the lower part of the inner panel; you can then proceed by prying with an object and removing the handrail trim, so that the underlying screws can be unscrewed. After removing these screws, you can proceed to detach the panel so that it can be replaced with a new one.
