Following these simple steps, we will see how to disassemble the front door panel of the Smart Fortwo. First, open the front door and start removing the plastic cover of the door handle by levering on the sides; then unscrew the fixing screws found underneath and on the sides of the panel, until it is detached and removed completely (disconnecting the handle cable), as shown in the video. At this point, it will be possible to access the inside of the door, as well as the window mechanism and the lock, finally reassembling the panel!
