How to open the interior light of the Smart Forfour

Opening the interior light of a Smart Forfour vehicle is a fairly simple operation to carry out independently. You just need to use a pointed tool. After removing the light to open it and replace the bulb, you will need to insert the pointed tool into the right side hole and then into the left one. Then you will need to insert the pointed tool into the upper holes, once the light is open you can remove and then insert the new bulb. To close the light, simply close it and then mount it in its housing to test its operation by turning on the interior light. If the problem persists, it may be necessary to replace the fuse.

Removing the Door Panel on a BMW Z3

Remove the front left door panel on a BMW Z3. Use a screwdriver to remove the trim around the upper door handle. Take out the switch panel from the door panel (disconnect the connector), unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel, and detach the retaining clips. Finally, pull the panel away by hand and disconnect it from the door (disconnect the power wiring and the opening cable if present on the model). Perform the desired maintenance inside the door. Refit the panel after maintenance.
