How to Replace the Key Fob Battery in a Ssangyong Rexton

Model: SsangYong Rexton MK 2 - Years 2017-2026

To replace the battery in the key fob of a second-generation Ssangyong Rexton, press the release button to extract the mechanical key. Locate the slot along the edge of the fob and open the casing using the key or a small flathead screwdriver. Once open, remove the depleted button battery, usually a CR2032 type, taking care with the contacts. Insert the new battery with the positive (+) side facing up. Close the casing until you hear it click and reinsert the mechanical key. Check the operation of the buttons.
