When the oil light on your Subaru XV remains illuminated amber despite resetting, you need to move the relevant fuse. To perform this operation, turn off the vehicle's instrument panel and open the front bonnet.

Open the fuse box cover and move the 15 Amp blue fuse from the right side to the left side. Close the cover and the front bonnet.

Get in the vehicle and turn on the instrument panel; the light should now be off.
