In this tutorial, you can see how to replace the remote battery on a Subaru Impreza by following a few simple steps: first, purchase a CR1820 remote key battery and a flathead screwdriver to open the remote shell, or a Swiss army knife will also work. Look at the bottom of the key where the remote connects to the keyring; you will see a small slot. Insert the tip of the screwdriver or knife into this slot. Once the remote shell is open, you must also remove the internal transmitter module. Now open the module cover using your nails; once opened, you will see the battery housed in this compartment; proceed to replace it with a new one.
