Exhaust System Adjustment to Eliminate Vibrations

If you feel vibrations coming from the exhaust system while under the vehicle, it is likely that a joint has failed, creating play and vibrations that generate noise; lift the vehicle on suitable ramps to facilitate access to the underside, inspect the exhaust pipe to identify the area with play: in this case, the noise comes from the area where the pipe splits, just after the particulate filter; you can remedy this by applying a metal clamp to securely fasten the pipe (fully open the clamp to insert it without removing the pipe).
