Replacement of the Serpentine and Auxiliary Belts

Open and lift the bonnet. Now, remove the air duct that directs air to the filter.

Also, remove the belt covers, both the plastic and metal parts. To remove the first belt, undo the bolt next to the alternator to relieve tension from the belt and remove it. For the second belt, undo the bolt next to the guide; this will also relieve tension on the second belt, allowing you to remove it. To remove the pulley, undo the bolt at its centre.

Replace the necessary parts and follow the steps in reverse for reassembly.
