How to Replace the Auxiliary Belts on a Mini

Model: Subaru Outback BL, BP, MK 3 - Years 2003-2009

Lift the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, insert your fingers under the bonnet, and pull the release lever, then secure it. Using a spanner, disconnect the battery cable and detach the air duct with a flat screwdriver. Unscrew the metal cover bolts with a socket and extension, then remove the upper bar near the alternator. Unscrew the belt tensioner and remove both belts. Fit the new belts, ensuring they are properly tensioned, and reattach the belt covers along with the air duct. Finally, reconnect the battery terminal.
