Timing Belt Replacement
Model: Subaru Outback
BP, MK 3, BL
- Years 2003-2009
Release and open the bonnet. Disconnect the negative battery cable to protect any electronic components. Now, remove the air intake above the bumper by simply removing the clips. Next, remove the bolts securing the covers on the alternator belt. You will need to unscrew the bolt that adjusts the tensioner to loosen the belt for easier removal. Perform the same operation to remove the other belt. To remove all the pulleys, just unscrew the bolts at the centre of each pulley. For the tensioners, unscrew the bolts securing them to the engine block. Now, remove the additional cover located under the main pulleys and also remove the belt here. Be very careful to respect the pulley positions during reassembly.

How do you replace the engine air filter on a Citroen C4? Watch this video to see how to proceed. Open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the air kit, disconnect the engine air intake hose and the metal clamp pin. Remove the air filter box from the vehicle body, then extract the worn air filter and insert a new one, ensuring it fits snugly against the walls of the box. Finally, reattach the air box panel and tighten the screws. Close the front bonnet last. by ScegliAuto More videos
