Replacing the Alternator on a Volkswagen New Beetle 2.5L

Today, we will look at the instructions for removing and replacing the alternator on a Volkswagen New Beetle 2.5L. First, lift the vehicle and remove the front right wheel and the wheel arch liner. Then, disconnect the alternator belt by loosening the tensioner with a socket or spanner, as shown in the video. At this point, unscrew the bolts of the alternator and disconnect the electrical wiring to remove it, replacing it with the new original one. Secure it properly and then install the V-belt, and refit the front wheel.
