Replacing the Air Filter

Model: Subaru Outback BS, MK 5 - Years 2014-2019
Part: Air filter

First, locate the position of the air filter. Release the bonnet using the appropriate lever and lift it. The filter is located on the right side of your vehicle and is easily identifiable as it is in a rigid black plastic housing. Lift the clips to comfortably move the two flaps of the cover to extract the air filter. Once removed, ensure you install the new filter in the correct orientation, then retrace the steps described for reassembly.
