First of all, we get on board the car and start pulling the gear lever knob upwards with force, rotating the knob and leveraging on the side if necessary; once removed, we check the compatibility with the new gear lever knob to be installed. At this point, we properly fix the knob on the gear lever, screwing it counterclockwise, making sure there is no play between the lever and the knob.
