Before starting, we will have to sit in the driver's seat of our Suzuki Swift. So let's start by going to disengage and lower the gearshift gaiter, connected to the knob. After that, we will have to go and unhook the lower clip that secures the gear knob to the lever. By doing so, we will have freed the gear knob itself. We then proceed by pulling the gear knob upwards, thus removing it from the gear lever, and we will have finished the disassembly. To fit the new gear knob, we will just have to follow these steps in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
