Protection for pedestrians and cyclists is deemed insufficient (58%), with a significant shortfall in standard ADAS systems; no automatic emergency braking, ineffective lane support system, and very limited speed control. The structure of the body shell is also considered insufficient; compared to competitors (Yaris, Polo, etc.) that received 3/4 stars, it is regarded as a less safe vehicle.
