Replace the Gear Knob on a Suzuki Swift

Let's look at removing the gear knob on a Suzuki Swift and the protective gaiter. Take the knob in your hands and rotate it left and right until you can remove it from the gear lever. Use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame (if being replaced). First, fit the new leather gaiter with the clips (if removed), then place the knob back on the lever. Take the new knob and slide it onto the lever in the centre console until it is secured. Ensure a thorough check for proper assembly of the plastics and all components.
