Replacing the gear knob on a Suzuki Swift is a simple and quick task to do yourself; in fact, on this model, it is not necessary to remove the gaiter, just unscrew the knob by turning it counterclockwise. To install the new knob, which may have an original or non-original fitting, simply insert the knob into the mechanism and turn it clockwise. Once the knob is installed, turn on the instrument cluster and move the gear lever through the gears to test the mechanism's operation. The cost of the original knob ranges from €10 to €40.
