Operation: Handbrake stroke adjustment

The adjustment of the handbrake stroke is carried out by acting on the adjusting screw located just below the handbrake lever itself; start with the disassembly of the plastic covering of the central tunnel (it is necessary to remove both the external covering and the underlying support). At this point it is possible to intercept the adjustment nut located in the rear part of the lever: insert a ball wrench and tighten the nut until the stroke of the handbrake reaches a maximum of four or five clicks. Then proceed backwards for reassembly.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
