First, get inside the vehicle and start by pulling firmly upwards on the gear knob, also making a twisting motion to extract it more easily, as illustrated in the video.

At this point, install the new gear knob, securing it properly onto the lever; try to avoid any play between the lever and the gear knob by inserting a tie wrap if possible between the gaiter and the knob.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space.
