After opening the bonnet, proceed to unscrew the support nuts of the battery fixing plate located on the left side of the compartment. Then proceed to disconnect the negative pole and then the positive one. Remove the battery and place the new one and then reconnect first the positive pole and then the negative one and finally screw the support nuts of the fixing plate back on.

How to reset the on-board computer of the Peugeot 208?

Resetting the Peugeot 208's on-board computer, the system called SMEG, is very simple. We can do this in case the system shows signs of malfunction, freezes, or in any other case where a restart could solve the problem. To reboot, simply hold down the two keys located in the lower left corner of the computer at the same time. After a few seconds, the SMEG system display will switch off, the Peugeot logo will appear and the start-up procedure will start. We wait patiently for the restart to complete as it may take some time.
