Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Model: Suzuki Grand Vitara MK 1 - Years 1999-2005

Position the vehicle on suitable axle stands, locate the drain plug beneath the oil sump and unscrew it to drain the used oil into a container; once the draining is complete, refit the plug; then access the engine bay to replace the oil filter located just below the exhaust manifold: unscrew the old filter and remove it from its housing, apply clean oil to the gasket of the new filter and screw it in without exceeding the tightening torque. Finally, fill the engine with clean oil until reaching the maximum level.
