How to Change the Engine Oil on a Suzuki Spacia

To change the engine oil and filter on this vehicle DIY, follow the attached instructions and refer to the images and video. Open the hood and lift the car. Under the engine compartment, locate the oil pan and the filter next to it. Unscrew the oil drain plug, ensuring you have a catch pan for the used oil on the floor. Use the appropriate wrench to unscrew the oil filter. Take the new filter and screw it back on, replacing the O-ring gasket first. Tighten the oil drain plug completely, then return to the top of the engine compartment to refill the lubricant through the fill cap. Finally, check the oil level with the dipstick.
