On this vehicle, the battery is located under the driver's seat, and you need to lift and flip the seat to access it. First, disconnect the negative terminal, then the positive terminal, and remove the nuts securing the upper plate. Remove the battery and replace it with a new one, then reconnect the positive terminal first, followed by the negative terminal, and finally reattach the nuts securing the plate.
