How to adjust the handbrake cable on the Suzuki Grand Vitara

Model: Suzuki Vitara LY - Years 2015-2024
Part: Parking brake

In this video, we can see how to adjust the handbrake cable on the Suzuki Grand Vitara. We need to unscrew the screw located at the base of the central glove compartment, which also acts as a central armrest. There is one on the outside and two on the inside of the glove compartment. This way, we can lift the armrest and access the handbrake cables, which we can tighten with a common wrench. Tighten it so that the brake lever can come up to a maximum of three/four notches when fully raised. Now we can lower the glove compartment and tighten the three screws we loosened earlier. In the video, we can also see how to adjust the bearings: we need to remove the rear wheels and remove the rubber grommet on the disc; from there, we will adjust it using the tip of a screwdriver. Put the grommet back on. The job is done.

How to Unlock the Fuel Flap on an Opel Meriva B?

To unlock the fuel flap on an Opel Meriva B when it is stuck, you need to use an object that acts as a lever to move the internal cover of the wheel arch. By inserting your hand inside, you will need to pull the latch that locks the flap from the inside, as shown in the video. Pulling the latch from the inside will allow you to open the fuel flap. The issue is related to the mechanism's motor: visiting a dealership will allow you to replace the entire part, which will be under warranty for two years and will enable you to refuel without worry.
