In this video, you can see how to adjust the handbrake cable on the Suzuki Grand Vitara. You need to unscrew the screw located at the base of the central glove compartment, which also acts as a central armrest. You will find one on the outside and two inside the glove compartment. This will allow you to lift the armrest and access the handbrake cables, which you can tighten with a common spanner. Tighten it so that the handbrake lever can come up to a maximum of three or four clicks when fully raised. Now you can lower the glove compartment and close the three screws that you previously loosened. The video also shows how to adjust the bearings: you will need to remove the rear wheels and take off the rubber cap on the disc; from there, you will adjust it using the tip of a screwdriver. Replace the rubber cap. The job is finished.
