Today we will see the main steps useful for disassembling and replacing the serpentine belt and tensioner of the Suzuki Grand Vitara. First, we open the hood of the car and start by unscrewing the tensioner screw, located on the sides of it; by removing the tensioner, it will then be possible to easily remove the serpentine belt, as shown in the video. At this point, we install the new tensioner and then the serpentine belt, loosening the tensioner to insert it correctly; we manually rotate the engine to make sure it has been inserted perfectly!
