How to replace the oil on Sym Joymax

Do we want to change the oil of the Sym Joymax 250 scooter? Let's see how the oil filter is removed and how the oil itself is changed. We lock the scooter on the central stand and begin the disassembly of the air filter. Unscrew the locking pin of the container where the oil is stored. Let's drain the oil into a container. At the end of the drain we can screw the oil pin. Unscrew the oil filter with a strap wrench if it is a coarse filter, otherwise with a socket wrench if it is a mesh filter. We replace all filters. We top up with the new oil recommended by the manufacturer.

Below we will illustrate the steps on how to replace the engine oil and oil filter of the Keeway Cafe Racer 152. First of all we put our motorcycle on the central stand and start warming up the engine for a few minutes; then unscrew the oil vent bolt that we find under the engine, letting it drain into a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the screws of the oil filter cover, removing and replacing the cartridge with the new one; finally unscrew the filler cap and top up with the new engine oil, of the right type.
