How do you remove the rear taillight of the Toyota Yaris?

In order to remove the rear light of the Toyota Yaris, you need to open the rear hatch so that you can detach the side trim panel of the trunk corresponding to the light to be removed: once this panel is removed, you can loosen the underlying screws so that the optical group can be extracted from its seat by disconnecting the connectors at the rear. After the light has been extracted, you can connect the new one to the connectors, inserting them into the optical group so that it can then be reattached.
