To unlock the automatic gearbox on the Toyota Yaris, turn on the ignition by inserting the key into the ignition switch: once the ignition is on, use an object to pry off the small cover located at the top right of the gear selector. Once this cover is removed, press the lever underneath so that the selector can be moved; this will unlock the gearbox, allowing you to shift the selector.
