If you hear a noise coming from the front of the vehicle, especially when driving on uneven surfaces, one possible cause could be the failure of the links connecting the stabiliser bar to the shock absorbers or the bushes supporting the stabiliser bar itself. Once you have lifted the car on a ramp, disconnect the bar from the link ends and remove the plate that houses the bush. Then, extract the old bush from its seat and apply the new one, greasing it before refitting the plate and reconnecting the bar to the links.
