Replacing the Oil Filter on a Toyota Auris

Is it time to replace the oil filter on your Toyota Auris? Here’s how to do it. Lift the vehicle on a column lift, unscrew the oil filter housing (use a socket wrench). Remove the filter from inside the plastic housing. Clean the filter housing before fitting the new one. Insert the new oil filter, screw the filter housing back under the vehicle. Unscrew the bolt under the oil sump (drain the oil into a container). Lower the car, unlock and lift the front engine cover. Top up the engine of the Toyota Auris with new oil.
