Changing the Engine Oil Filter on a Toyota Auris

In this video, learn how to change the engine oil filter on a Toyota Auris. First, lift the car on a column lift or jack and use a strap wrench to unscrew the oil filter from the engine block. Next, use a socket wrench with the appropriate socket to remove the bolt located under the oil sump, allowing the oil to drain into a container for future disposal. Once all the oil has drained, refit the bolt in the oil sump and install the new filter. Finally, top up the oil reservoir with new fluid, following the manufacturer's recommendations.
