How to Change the Number Plate Bulb on Toyota Aygo

To replace the number plate light bulb on the Toyota Aygo (the procedure is the same for the Peugeot 107 and Citroen C1), first, extract the light unit from its housing. Use a small plastic pry tool or a screwdriver (taking care not to scratch the bodywork) and leverage at the edges of the light unit. Once extracted, you will see the electrical connection for the bulb at the back, so proceed to disconnect it by pulling out the small connector. At this point, you have access to the bulb and can replace it with a new one.
