How to fix a false contact on the rear lights of the Toyota Yaris MK1

In this video we can see how to fix a problem that can easily occur on this car model: a false contact was causing the reverse light to turn on at the same time as the stop light. The solution was to remove the rear light by simply unscrewing the fixing screw and disconnecting the power cable connector. All this from the dedicated panel located inside the trunk. The problem was solved by checking the connections and cleaning the oxidized contacts. One of the contacts was deteriorated, and the youtuber repaired it using a wall hook with a bit of ingenuity; a solution that proved to be effective. Clean the seat and reassemble the light. Problem solved.
