To replace the battery of the Toyota Yaris remote control, we need to use a flathead screwdriver and press on the sides of the remote to remove the top part. We then extract the emergency metal key contained inside and insert the flathead screwdriver into the top hole to apply slight pressure, which will open the remote.

We remove the battery compartment and take out the non-working battery. We insert the new CR 2023 battery and reinsert the battery compartment back into the remote.

We close the remote and insert the metal key back inside, close the top part, and test the functionality of the remote.
