How to change the oil and oil filter in the Toyota Rav 4?

To change the oil and replace the oil filter in your Toyota Rav 4, the steps are very simple and quick. First, as shown in the video, lift the car on ramps to access the underside. Next, remove the cover protecting the oil sump. Once the cover is off, remove the sump plug and, using a container, let all the used oil drain out. Once the sump is empty, move on to the filter located next to it. Unscrew the filter and remove any excess oil, then proceed to replace it with a new filter. Remember to change the gasket for safety, and also the plug if necessary. Once these steps are completed, reposition the filter and close the sump with a new plug, and you are ready to add new oil.
