These brief steps will show us the process of replacing the motor oil and oil filter, performing the routine maintenance check on the Toyota RAV 4. First, we lift the vehicle and start unscrewing the oil drain plug found on the oil pan, letting the fluid drain into a container for about ten minutes; we will immediately find the oil filter next to it, which we will unscrew with the appropriate wrench to replace the cartridge, as shown in the video. At this point, we top up with new motor oil, filling up to the maximum level mark on the dipstick.
