Replacing the Gear Knob on a Toyota Yaris

Want to replace the gear knob on your Toyota Yaris? In this video, see how to remove it from the centre console. Use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame, take the knob in your hands and rotate it to the left until it comes off the gear stick (unscrew the thread). For reassembly, take the new knob and slide it onto the stick on the centre console, tighten it onto the stick; fit the new leather gaiter with the clips. Finally, test the movement of the stick on the centre console to ensure the knob is correctly mounted.
