How to Replace the Number Plate Light on a Toyota Yaris

Replacing the number plate bulb on a Toyota Yaris is quite simple as it is located inside an easily removable light unit. On one side of the unit, you will notice a small plastic clip that, once released with a small flathead screwdriver, will allow you to pull the light unit from its housing. Once the light unit is removed, you will have access to the bulb holder, which is fixed to the unit with a bayonet fitting. This can be detached by turning it 180 degrees. At this point, you will have access to the bulb, which can be replaced with a new one once removed.
