Removing the Lock from a Toyota Corolla

Model: Toyota Corolla MK 3 - Years 2006-2013

In this video tutorial, you will learn how to remove the door lock from a Toyota Corolla. First, open the front door and remove the side plastic cap. Then, use a pointed tool to push inside the hole and, with a plastic lever, disengage the lock from the outside. At this point, extract the entire cylinder from the door, as shown in the video. If you want to remove the handle as well, simply disengage it by pushing it forward, without disassembling or removing any other parts. For reassembly, apply the reverse procedure.
