In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the rear door lock on a Toyota Corolla, a very simple operation. First, open the door in question, then remove the two indicated caps and unscrew the screws just exposed. Next, extract the window switch, disconnect the connector, and separate the panel by levering along the lower edge. At this point, simply unscrew the fixing bolts of the lock, remove it from the housing, and disconnect the relevant cable. To fit the replacement, just follow the reverse procedure.
