Do you find the lack of illumination on the window and central locking switch panel annoying when driving at night? Here’s how to replace it. Obtain a new switch panel compatible with your car model. Now get a set of screwdrivers and plastic levers. To remove the main panel, use the plastic tool to pry it off and extract the assembly. Disconnect the two connectors by pressing the tabs on them and pulling the connector. Once the block is removed, unscrew the three cross-head screws securing the switches and refit the new switch set, securing it with the three screws removed earlier. Reassemble the components on the door, ensuring the connectors are inserted first. To test the operation, turn on the ignition and try all the buttons.
