Removing the Standard Radio in Five Minutes

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp90 - Years 2005-2011

Do you need to replace the radio or want to install a different one from the standard? No problem, here’s how to do it in a few steps.
Grab, one at a time, the two plastic side strips surrounding the radio and climate controls, starting from the bottom, pull the individual strip towards you while sliding your hands upwards, popping all the clips one by one.
Once you have completely removed the strips, grab the speedometer cover and pull it towards you, removing it from its clips just as shown in the video, and take it out completely.
Using a screwdriver, unscrew the 4 screws holding the radio, as shown in the guide, there are 2 on each side, and unclip the 2 clips at the top.
At this point, you can extract the block containing the radio and the air vents, being careful to disconnect the wiring, you can proceed with the final removal and installation of a new radio.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
