Today you will see how to remove and replace the battery on a third series Toyota Yaris (not hybrid), following these simple steps. First, open and lift the bonnet; then remove the upper plastic cover of the battery and, using a socket spanner, unscrew the screws of the terminals (positive and negative).

At this point, remove the central bracket by unscrewing the bolts and extract the battery; simply replace it with the correct new one of the same amperage, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure of disassembly!
