Operation: Disassembly of the car radio for repair

Start removing the climate control knobs by pulling them gently using your hands. Remove the plastic frame by pulling it and at the same time lifting it upwards. Proceed with the same operation on the plastic frame around the car radio. Then remove the screws from the radio console and gently remove the assembly by lifting it up to allow removal of the connectors. Once the radio has been removed, remove the switch fixing screws and remove it carefully. Also remove the connecting cables. Reassemble the new radio by proceeding with the reverse operations. Switch on the car radio for a proper functioning test.

How to manually open the door of the Volkswagen Polo
