Removing the Car Radio for Repair

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp10 - Years 1999-2005

Start by gently pulling off the climate control knobs using just your hands. Remove the plastic frame by pulling it while simultaneously lifting it upwards. Proceed with the same operation on the plastic frame around the car radio. Next, remove the screws from the radio console and carefully lift the assembly to allow the connectors to be removed. Once the car radio is removed, take out the screws securing the switch and gently remove it. Also, disconnect the connecting cables. Refit the new radio by reversing the operations. Turn on the car radio to test for correct operation.
