Replacing the Boot Light Bulb on a Toyota Yaris

To replace the boot light bulb on the Toyota Yaris, simply remove the complete light unit with the bulb holder: insert the tip of a small flathead screwdriver into the side of the light unit and lever it out of its housing; at this point, by rotating, you can access the bulb holder and remove the original bulb, which is a glass type with a T10 fitting; then insert the new bulb, choosing an LED type that will provide a much more efficient level of illumination; reattach the bulb holder to the light unit and refit it into the boot lining.
