First, completely turn off the car. Open the bonnet and lift it fully. Locate the battery and start by unscrewing the negative terminal (black) followed by the positive terminal (red). Next, unscrew the battery security bolt and remove the battery. Position the new battery, connect the two terminals, and re-tighten the security bolt.
