To replace the third brake light bulb on the Toyota Tacoma, you need to detach the headliner at the rear of the vehicle, also removing the clip located at this point. Once the headliner is detached, you can disconnect the third brake light housing from the inside, so the connector attached to it will disconnect.

After removing the housing, you will need to pull out the bulb inside and replace it with a new one. After the replacement, you can reattach the housing, connecting and securing it properly.
