How to Replace the Battery Pack of the Toyota Prius Hybrid?

Model: Toyota Prius Xw30, MK 2 - Years 2009-2015

This guide shows how to quickly replace the hybrid batteries of the Toyota Prius Hybrid. After securing the vehicle, open the boot and remove the lower trim panels and the boot cover. Fold down the rear seats and remove the left side glove box, the auxiliary battery cover, and the lock protection panel. Remove the 4 bolts from the base of the seats, the 8 bolts from the side panel, and the screws from the lower panel and left side panel. Disconnect the negative terminal of the auxiliary battery. Remove the battery cover panel and the 5 black plastic clips. Remove the service handle and the side panels of the boot. Remove the 19 bolts from the battery pack. Remove the metal covers of the battery and the exposed bolts. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the battery. Reassemble everything in position.
