How to Remove the Door Handle of a Toyota Prius

Model: Toyota Prius Xw30, MK 2 - Years 2009-2015

Start by removing the insert from the door panel and the window switch by simply unclipping them and disconnecting the corresponding plug. Next, remove the door panel itself by unscrewing the fixing screws and then unclipping it from the support hooks, followed by disconnecting the wiring of the internal opening handle. At this point, remove the internal cover of the door to access the inside of the handle. Proceed by unscrewing the three screws that secure the lock, then remove the lock itself. Now, you can detach the handle by unscrewing the fixing bolts and unclipping the relevant hooks, completing the disassembly.
