How to Replace the Battery in a Toyota Yaris

In this guide, learn how to replace the battery in a Toyota Yaris. First, unscrew the two 10mm screws of the block as shown at minute 0:55. Once unscrewed, rotate the two metal clips that were held in place by the screws and remove the piece. Next, unscrew the terminal clamps. After unscrewing, disconnect the negative terminal followed by the positive terminal. Now, remove the cover as shown at minute 1:50 and then the battery itself. Insert the new battery; connect the terminal clamps (starting with the positive) and tighten them. Reinsert the block, positioning the clips and tightening the screws. Now replace the plastic cover of the positive terminal, and the replacement will be complete.
